The Little Sandwich Shop is a well-known cafe in Cleveleys, Blackpool. After being the business transferred ownership, the new owner sought a new brand identity, including a logo that has a slight feminine touch, and would stand out. Take a look at what we did!
The Little Sandwich Shop was a well-established business in Cleveleys, Blackpool. However, with new ownership, came a need for a new brand identity. The client requested something with a feminine touch that would catch the attention of potential customers over different social media channels. The logo needed to have something different and a unique flare Ultimately, the re-brand would attract new customers, refresh the views of current customers and increase awareness, sales (both in-store and online), and footfall.
I designed a unique font that featured a combination of stand-alone letters mixed with a hybrid sans-script. Taking into account the interior of the cafe, I wanted to reflect this within the logo. Adding a delicate leaf and floral pattern to the outside would help frame the logo, and create a focal point. From there, I created a colour palette that was rather neutral and splashed watercolours to the background of the logo, something which I believe would be 'Instagramable' when shown on coffee cups, menus, and other collateral designs.
Overall, we successfully re-branded The Little Sandwich Shop, designing a new logo, brand assets, colour palate, and social media collateral.
I went to This Is Apollo with a vague idea of what type of logo I wanted. We brainstormed ideas of the type of brand I wanted to portray and discussed logo styles I liked, and from there a brand new font style was created. I'm really happy with the end result and would definitely recommend their services.
